Mint tea is an aromatic tea that can magically warm you up on a cold day or cool you down when it’s hot. Archaeologists have found dried mint in the Egyptian pyramids dating back to 1000 BCE.
Possible medicinal properties: Antispasmodic, tonic and aids digestion, stimulates the digestive system, relieves mouth ulcers, gum disease and tonsillitis. Removes mouth odours, soothing, tones the memory, helps with insomnia and headaches.
Possible external medicinal uses: Rubbing fresh spearmint leaves on joints and pained areas can relieve pain. Also used against rheumatic pains.
Used in cooking for flavor and aroma.
Drying Process: The process of drying our herbs is carried out under the shade in low temperatures below 35 degrees Celsius to ensure that the herbs preserve their colour and essential oils. Thus, they are characterised by their lively appearance and rich aroma.
